Terms & Conditions

1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to marriage proposal experiences and related services booked through Amalfi Coast Proposals, including private venue proposals, boat and yacht proposals, private dining, vintage car experiences and proposal photoshoots. The legal service provider, booking date, agreed services and total price will be identified in your written booking confirmation. If a specific booking agreement contains different conditions disclosed before payment, those conditions take precedence, subject to applicable law.

2. Booking & Confirmation

All experiences are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only after the required initial payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued. The quotation or booking confirmation specifies the date, location, service inclusions, optional enhancements and any third-party fees. Please review these details before payment.

3. Booking & Payments

Standard proposal experiences: a 50% deposit is required to confirm the reservation. The remaining 50% must be paid no later than 14 calendar days before the event.

Private venue proposals: the full venue reservation fee specified in the quotation is required to secure the venue and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the client, subject to applicable law. The balance for the remaining confirmed services must be paid no later than 30 calendar days before the event.

Bookings made within the applicable balance-payment period require full payment of the amount then due at confirmation, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment methods, taxes and any disclosed transaction charges will be specified before payment.

4. What Your Proposal Includes

Each experience is tailor-made. Your written quotation determines the exact inclusions. Our standard proposal services include bespoke planning and tailored support, on-site coordination on the proposal day, a standard-size fresh flower bouquet, a champagne toast and a professional proposal photographer. Photographer coverage, image delivery and any service-specific details will be set out in your confirmation. Boat experiences also include a professional skipper, fuel and insurance, and an onboard Bluetooth sound system, as specified for the booked boat. Venue proposals include the agreed venue arrangements and a Bluetooth speaker where stated in the package.

5. Optional Enhancements

Additional videography, drone coverage, live music, upgraded floral and decorative styling, special effects, premium champagne and private transfers may be arranged upon request at an additional charge. All extras depend on availability and, where necessary, venue rules, weather conditions, safety restrictions and required permissions. Only services expressly listed in your confirmed quotation are included in the agreed price.

6. Venues, Access & Exclusivity

Access to any venue, terrace, beach or public area is subject to the applicable venue conditions and local regulations. An agreed private setup or reserved area does not mean the entire property or surrounding public space is exclusively available unless exclusive use is specifically confirmed in writing. The team may recommend equivalent settings if access or safety conditions change.

7. Changes Requested by the Client

Any request to change the date, time, location, guest count, selected venue or other agreed arrangements must be made in writing as early as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may involve additional costs or supplier charges. A requested change is not confirmed until accepted in writing.

8. Weather & Exceptional Circumstances

Guest safety comes first. For boat and yacht experiences, the licensed skipper makes the final decision on safe navigation. If adverse weather, sea conditions, official restrictions or other exceptional circumstances prevent the experience from being safely delivered, we will seek a suitable alternative or mutually agreed rescheduling. If neither is possible, any refund or other remedy will be handled in accordance with the services that cannot be delivered, the circumstances and applicable law. A change of plan will be communicated as early as reasonably possible.

9. Arrival Times & No-Shows

Clients are responsible for arriving at the confirmed meeting point on time. Delays may reduce the available experience time where supplier schedules or local conditions do not permit an extension. A failure to attend without timely notice is treated as a no-show under the Cancellation Policy.

10. Dietary, Accessibility & Special Requests

For experiences involving food or drinks, allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements must be communicated at least seven calendar days before the event. Mobility or accessibility needs and any other important requirements should be disclosed before booking wherever possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, subject to the selected venue and suppliers.

11. Photography & Privacy

Professional proposal photography is included as specified in the booking confirmation. The number of delivered images, coverage time, editing and delivery schedule will be confirmed for each experience. Client photographs and video will not be used for public marketing without the appropriate permission. Personal data is handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy.

12. Cancellation, Responsibility & Applicable Law

The Cancellation Policy below forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law. Where we are unable to provide a confirmed service for reasons within our control, appropriate alternatives or refunds will be offered as required by law. These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply to the client.

Cancellation Policy

1.Standard Proposal Bookings

A 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking, with the remaining 50% due no later than 14 calendar days before the event.

Cancellation received 30 calendar days or more before the event: 50% of amounts already paid toward the standard experience will be refunded.

Cancellation received fewer than 30 calendar days before the event: amounts already paid are non-refundable.

Same-day cancellations and no-shows: no refund will be issued.

2. Private Venue Proposal Bookings

The venue reservation fee shown separately in your quotation is payable to secure the location and is non-refundable if the client cancels, subject to applicable law. The balance for other confirmed services is due no later than 30 calendar days before the event.

Cancellation received 30 calendar days or more before the event: the venue fee remains non-refundable; 50% of other amounts already paid for the booked experience will be refunded.

Cancellation received fewer than 30 calendar days before the event: amounts already paid, including the venue fee, are non-refundable.

Same-day cancellations and no-shows: no refund will be issued.

3. Cancellations & Date Changes

All cancellation or date-change requests must be sent in writing to the contact details provided in the booking confirmation. The effective cancellation date is the date the request is received. Date changes depend on availability and may involve additional charges; they do not automatically waive the applicable cancellation terms.

4. Weather & Exceptional Circumstances

If adverse weather, unsafe sea conditions or circumstances beyond reasonable control prevent the planned experience, we will first offer a suitable alternative or mutually agreed rescheduling whenever practicable, without an additional planning fee; any unavoidable supplier difference will be explained in advance. For boat proposals, navigation is always subject to the licensed skipper's safety decision. If an alternative or rescheduling is not possible, any refund or remedy will be determined in accordance with the undelivered services and applicable law. Client cancellation and supplier inability to perform are treated differently. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected, and any refund due will be processed using an agreed payment method within a reasonable period.

5. Dietary Requirements

For proposals involving a private dinner or other catered service, allergies, intolerances and dietary preferences must be communicated at least seven calendar days before the event. Any accommodation depends on the selected venue and supplier.
